Soraya Sarah Nazarian Applied Arts Program

The Soraya Sarah Nazarian Applied Arts program at the Skirball Cultural Center offers intergenerational applied arts classes rooted in Jewish cultural context, drawing inspiration from the Skirball's museum collection, changing exhibitions, and artists-in-residence. Launched in 2025 acrylic painting, the program has expanded to include collage and hand pottery, with additional disciplines such as storyboarding, bookbinding, quilting, and mosaic under consideration for future years.
