THE YOUNES & SORAYA NAZARIAN FAMILY FOUNDATION

PROMOTING EDUCATION AS CATALYST FOR SOCIETAL CHANGE

The Foundation supports educational causes in a broad spectrum of institutions and through a wide variety of avenues - academic, public policy, community based social and artistic programs. Giving back to the Jewish and Iranian roots of the family has been a central priority for the Foundation, therefore, the Foundation's geographic foci are Los Angeles and Tel Aviv, Israel, as well as wherever the need is greatest.

The sculpture shown above, entitled Legacy (2009, carrera marble), by noted sculptor Soraya Sarah Nazarian, is situated at the entrance to the University of Haifa in Israel. Legacy embodies the spirit of the Foundation, which values the sharing of knowledge and the pursuit of education as catalysts for positive change.

YOUNES & SORAYA NAZARIAN

Vigilant stewards of a moral inheritancE

Younes and Soraya Nazarian view themselves as vigilant stewards of a moral inheritance passed down to them by their parents.

They have aspired to leave behind a legacy and share this moral inheritance. They are deeply committed to their philanthropy because of their own personal stories, which began with humble beginnings and challenges in Iran that shaped their lives, and ultimately who they are today.

IMA FOUNDATION

The efforts of the IMA Foundation
are focused on Israel.

The Ima Foundation aims to support Israel's people by investing in their future through education as the most important vehicle
to narrow the country's social and economic gaps.

To advance its philanthropic presence in Israel, in 2003, the Foundation established the Ima Foundation as its regional office in Tel Aviv.

FOR GRANTSEEKERS

The Younes & Soraya Nazarian Family Foundation conducts its grantmaking activities with the highest level of due diligence to advance its mission.
